Korg Prophecy

The Korg Prophecy is a hardware synthesizer, specifically a monophonic analog synthesizer, that was first released by Korg in 1995. It gained popularity for its unique sound and advanced synthesis capabilities. The Prophecy was notable for its extensive modulation options and its ability to create complex and evolving sounds.

One of the standout features of the Korg Prophecy is its Physical Modeling synthesis engine. This engine enables the synthesis of realistic acoustic instrument sounds, such as guitars, brass, and strings, by emulating their physical characteristics. It also includes a powerful arpeggiator, extensive effects processing, and a ribbon controller for expressive playing.
